Hi Lisa - welcome to AbFab! Sorry to hear you have health problems. I've been there myself with mental health issues! I did an A Level when I was 38, so you are younger than I was! What subject? I did art! Good luck with losing weight - it'll help your confidence about yourself. Take care

today i have made myself a salad and have 2 bottles of water with me, my mental health (if you don't know i have'problems') is getting better and i feel that i will be changing to even less money! but doesn't mean that i have stopped looking for a job even though i am about to do A levels (even at my age)which my counsellor says is fine because he did a degree at 35.

Although i haven't weighed myself today i have been on the scales and have been fluctuating that why i haven't been on for a while and its been half term. i have brought a pair of size 14 jeans which i feel comfy in they're not tight but ok. and people are noticing and yes even my dad! who has given me motivation to carry on and has agreed that 11.stone is a perfect weight, but i will see when i have got downto that.

Lisa, look at your overall big picture, fantastic achievement!!!! Don't get despondent. I think you have reached a plateau, stick with it and things will start to shift again. You need to look long term rather than get fixated on the here and now- Think of how much better you must look and feel than when you first started. I know it's difficult when you are trying really hard, but you CAN do it and judging by what you have achieved so far, you WILL. lol Jo xxx

Today I have a salad and in it I have 2 boiled eggs chopped into quarters, a tomato chopped up, Romaino lettuce shredded, cucumber sliced, 2 tinned sausages, boiled, 4 salad or new potatoes with the skins on, 1 slice of stilton crumbled, 2 strips of double glouster with onion and chives chopped up, 2 strips of smoked cheese chopped up, 1 turkey steak grilled and chopped up and half the fat mature chedder also chopped up. I also have a 1 litre bottle of water. I've had a black coffee no food. and i have put on 2lbs,but i think that was because i had some homemade white chocolate cookies that i made for my sister who never showed and didn't even call me to tell me that she wasn't coming! last friday i went swimming with my support worker and swam 4 half lengths and 1 full length as I'm not a compentent swimmer yet, its been a while! i have been walking almost everywhere and don't drink at all anymore i'm on fruit juice or cordial and soda with ice.

Just got your comment I wish I could lose 4 stone overnight. How on earth did you think you were 16 stone, are you not very tall. At least it gives you something to feel good about, only 15kg not the 30 odd. I have tried to send about 3 messages but it says I can't not sure why. I will keep trying.
Have a great evening, I have been unwell today so have not done much - hopefully a better tomorrow. What exercise are you into doing?

Lisa I have just read your post and wanted to contact you. I know how you feel I suffer from depression etc and have had years of counselling and antidepressants. I too am overweight but have reduced significantly I used to be 108kg but now down to 81kg, more importantly from about a 28 dress size to a 14/16. Do not apologise we are where we are at now it is only the present and future we can have any effect upon. I have put in a contact request if you wish to become contacts. Ruth PS don't do it for your dad or other people do it for you.
